Saif Sa’ad Muhsen
Barista, Businessman, Public Figure
About me
I hope this message finds you well and curious to know a bit more about me! My name is Saif Sa’ad Muhsen, but most folks call me “San.” Born in the year 1989, I call Slemani my home sweet home. Now, here’s the exciting part of my journey – picture this: once upon a time, I was strumming melodies as a guitar teacher in those cozy private organizations in Slemani. You can say I was sprinkling musical stardust in the air! Fast forward to 2017, and I did a full 180. I dove headfirst into the world of coffee as a Barista. Since then, I’ve been whisking up a storm, creating all sorts of Moktel masterpieces that are as delightful to the eye as they are to the taste buds. Taking a bold leap in 2018, I gave wings to my dreams and set up shop. You guessed it – it’s none other than “San Coffee,” a booth that radiates cozy coffee vibes right here in Slemani. And guess what? that folks can call their coffee haven. A crowning achievement in this journey was my recognition in Erbil (Hewler), where I was honored by the esteemed French company, Monin. Renowned for their exceptional beverage liquors.
Thank you for taking the time to get acquainted with my story.
San Coffee
San Café was originally built in a small palace in 2023/10/19 in Salem Street. From the beginning of the creation of San Café and we had big dreams like having San Café as a famous brand and bringing our own products into the market.
Thank God that we were able to achieve our great goal in 2021 after three years and make the first Kurdish coffee in Qazwan and Tree Resin which is now used in San Cafe.
The characteristic of our coffee is that bring them freshly and still green then roast it and do the packaging here under the name San 1784.
Why 1784? 1784 is an important year for us because it is the year of the founding of Sulaymaniyah and we have put that number next to our name as a gratitude and love for our City.
